Game Day

Game Day will be on Wednesday, November 15th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  For grades 4-8 ONLY.  The Wii will be displayed on the projector, and the Xbox 360 will be available on the flat screen TV.  Board games will also be available on the tables.  Snacks will be provided by the library.  Please DO NOT send children in grades below 4th; they will NOT be allowed to attend.

The Friends of the Wellsville Library will be hosting a Christmas Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 16th at 10:00 AM.  Cost is $5.00 per dozen.  Sale ends at 2:00 PM or when cookies are sold out!

Storytime clipart

We have story times for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.  The story times are scheduled on the following days:
 

Tuesdays starting February 13th:

  • School-aged (grades K and up) story times at 3:30 PM

Thursdays starting February 15th:

  • NEW Family Story Time (for toddlers 18 months - preschool aged children), either 11:00 AM or 3:30 PM

Please pre-register for story times so we can provide enough crafts and snacks for each child.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party

Kids in grades preschool - 3rd grade can join us on Monday, March 5th at 6:00 PM for a celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday.  We will have stories, games, snacks and a craft.  Please stop by or call the library to sign up your child.

Cutest Pet Photo Contest

BrutusIt's back!  Time to submit pictures of your cat or dog for the Cutest Pet Photo Contest!  Submit photos now until Saturday, April 7th.  Voting will be in the library during National Library Week from Monday, April 9th to Friday, April 13th.  Cutest cat and cutest dog with the most votes will win a prize on Friday, April 13th.  Write your name, pet's name, address, and your phone number on the back of the photo and submit in the library or send to the library.  One entry per person.  One vote per person.

Come and enjoy an evening of relaxation.  Studies show coloring can have a calming effect on the adult mind and help to promote overall wellness.  We will provide the coloring pages, colored pencils, and refreshments.  Adults only.  Seats are limited.  Registration is required.

There's a group for your toddler, preschooler, or school-aged child.  Kids can join us for stories, games, snacks, and crafts. 

School-aged: Tuesdays starting September 11th at 3:30 PM

Family (Toddlers and preschoolers): Thursdays starting September 13th at 11:00 AM

Pre-registration is REQUIRED to make sure we have enough crafts and snacks available for every child.

Noah's Ark Halloween WorkshopKids can join us for a shivery Halloween party enjoying Shivery Shades of Halloween by Mary McKenna Siddals and making their own Halloween friend to take home!  We will be in costume, so wear yours, too, if you'd like!

Program is FREE.  Space is LIMITED.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED. For grades preschool - 4th.
